It was the 23rd January 1827 when the new Lodge under Warrant number 325 I.C. was consecrated. The ceremony was carried out under the authority of the Grand Lodge of Ireland with the Masters and Officers of Lodge No.42 I.C. and Lodge No.130 I.C. being the only two remaining Irish military Lodge's stationed at Gibraltar.
Instructions in a letter from Grand Lodge dated 18th September 1826, nominated Bro. Daniel Durham to be Master, Bro. Isaac Thompson to be Senior Warden and Bro. Alex. Imbrie to be Junior Warden. The meeting began at 2 o'clock when they convened themselves as a Grand Lodge by Proxy and in the name of His Grace Augustus Frederick Duke of Leinster and the other Right Worshipful Officers of the Grand Lodge of Ireland the Brethren were installed. The installation taking place at the Freemason's Tavern.
The Right Worshipful Brother Thos. Samuel, Master of Lodge No.42 was assisted by the Right Worshipful Brother George Gillespie, Master of Lodge No.130 as Deputy Grand Master, the Installation being duly executed at 5 0'clock.
The Grand Lodge having closed, the Lodge opened for the first time in the first degree and after transacting all the business incumbent upon it, closed and proceeded to refreshment, which it continued until 10 o'clock.
Grand Lodge was informed by letter on the 30th April 1827 of those Brethren composing the new Lodge as well as those who took part in the ceremony. The Lodge also sent the sum of two pounds sterling for the purpose of transferring the said Brothers from their different Lodges to 325 as well as apologising due to their infant state for not forwarding anything for charitable purposes.
